WordPress

WordPress development is generally divided into two key areas: front-end and back-end—both essential for building a complete and fully functional website.

The front end is what visitors see and interact with when they visit a site. It involves the design, layout, and overall user experience. Front-end developers use technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and sometimes React (especially for creating custom Gutenberg blocks) to build beautiful, responsive, and user-friendly themes. Their work includes customizing templates, styling components, and ensuring mobile compatibility and smooth navigation.

The back end, on the other hand, is where all the core functionality lives. It’s responsible for managing data, user roles, custom post types, and plugin features. Back-end developers work mainly with PHP and MySQL to handle server-side logic, integrate APIs (like the WordPress REST API), and develop custom plugins or functionalities. They also focus on performance, security, and scalability.
